At the intersection of 14th and Hull Streets is Mayo Island.
Named after the man who named our city of Richmond. Rumor has it “the Babe” once graced this island for a 9 inning exhibition of Yankee caliber baseball. On the island sits the buildings that formed the original Overnight Transportation Hub here in Richmond.
Now a group of artists have taken over a former loading dock and second floor administrative offices and turned them into a front porch and studios to persue their passions of craft, photo
