Christopher McElroy creates sculptural forms, actions, environments, video, and photographs that negotiate ideas of civilization and wilderness. Informed by lifelong interest in aspects of food production, ranging from water rights and forest management to urban gardening and biotechnology, McElroy's work probes at problems in human interactions with the natural world.
Christopher holds an MFA from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
